Possessing an enthusiasm for her community and a talent in jewelry design, Jordann M. Weingartner combined her interests and creativity and founded her company, Jordann Jewelry. The concept? To be both businesswoman and philanthropist, to establish a successful line of jewelry while giving back to the community that inspired and supported her endeavors. A modern woman can have it all if she uses her mind and heart to achieve it.
A native of Palm Beach, Florida, Jordann found her inspiration through the people that gave her the ability to dream big, persevere, and ultimately succeed. Since childhood, her mother’s love of flowers influenced her daily life. It comes as no surprise that the Jordann Jewelry’s signature copyrighted trademark is the Magnolia Flower. A representation of beauty, determination and passion, the Magnolia embodies the characteristics that Jordann strives to maintain in her social as well as her business interactions. In addition, the Magnolia symbolizes perseverance, her Father’s favorite word, and with this meaning in mind Jordann executes a collection of jewelry conveying these attributes to the wearer as well as to the admirer.
Like most designers, Jordann honed her skills as a designer in the fashion office of a company she admired, namely Cartier. Upon graduating from Babson College with a degree in Entrepreneurial Studies, Jordann moved to New York City and secured a high-profile position with Richemont within Cartier’s Corporate Communications department. Liaising with the press, private clients and executing special events on behalf of this luxury Richemont brand, Jordann polished her business skills that she would later incorporate in to her own entrepreneurial endeavors.
In 2007, Jordann decided to take her experience back to her hometown of Palm Beach, Florida and utilize both her business background and namesake. JEM (standing for Jordann E. Miller, her maiden name) opened its doors at 326 South County Road in Palm Beach, Florida the same year, offering wearable treasures to a select clientele. Jordann expanded the success of her boutique with an online JEM experience, namely PalmBeachJEM.com.
For most, a successful retail and e-commerce operation would be enough, but Jordann’s determination and passion took her success to the next level. Combining her experience at Cartier and JEM, Jordann began designing her signature collection, Jordann Jewelry. She was in touch with her client through working with her daily at her retail boutique. This woman desired adornment, wearability, versatility and beauty suitable to her modern lifestyle. The Magnolia Collection emerged.
The Jordann Jewelry collection includes necklaces, earrings, bracelets, bangles, and rings, with or with diamonds and is recognizable by its signature Magnolia shape. This shape lends perfectly in metals with or without gemstones. Jordann also offers personalized statement pieces; Magnolia engraved charms and necklaces. These customized statement pieces make more than a stylish statement; they provide a keepsake for the wearer and the sharer, amongst friends, family and loved ones.
Staying true to her philosophy of giving back, Jordann has partnered with the charity Locks of Love creating a “Locks of Love Magnolia” necklace, which now serves as the official necklace for the charity that Jordann holds so dear to her heart. Furthermore, with the sale of each necklace, Jordann gives 25% of the proceeds towards the non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. The official Jordann Jewelry design of two inter-locking magnolia flowers can be seen and purchased on the charity’s homepage, LocksofLove.org.
